NIGERIA EXTRADITES CHINESE GANG LEADER IN LANDMARK INTERPOL OPERATION Abuja, August 24, 2025 – In a decisive move against transnational crime, the Nigeria Police Force, in collaboration with Interpol, has extradited Dai Qisheng, a notorious Chinese gang leader wanted for violent crimes in Guizhou Province, China. Dai was arrested in Abuja on August 8, 2025, following weeks of coordinated surveillance by the Interpol National Central Bureau (NCB) Nigeria. After due process, he was repatriated to Beijing on August 15, 2025, through a police-to-police cooperation framework involving Interpol NCB Beijing and the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria.
