BROKEN PARENTING AND THE RISE OF YOUTH CRIME
Parenting is the foundation of every society. When it is strong, children grow into responsible leaders; when it fails, the result is chaos. Sadly, today’s youths are paying the price for poor or absent parenting, and the consequences are everywhere for us to see.

One of the greatest dangers is the rise of cyber fraud, known as Yahoo Yahoo. Thousands of young people, lacking discipline and values at home, are drawn into the flashy but destructive world of internet scams. The lure of fast money, without hard work, has turned many into criminals, fueling greed and destroying futures.

Even more alarming is the rise in violent crimes and ritual killings. In recent years, several reports have surfaced of young men luring ladies with false promises only to dismember them for money rituals. These gruesome acts reflect the depth of moral decay when children grow up without guidance, love, or a sense of accountability.

Drug abuse also plays a huge role. Many young people now live on hard substances, believing it makes them bold or influential. Instead, it destroys their health, clouds their judgment, and pushes them further into crime, robbery, cultism, and sometimes even death.

The collapse of parenting has also left young women vulnerable. Instead of being nurtured to value education, dignity, and purpose, many are influenced by social media pressures to chase money at all costs. This makes them easy targets for exploitation, abuse, and, in some tragic cases, death at the hands of ritualists or violent gangs.

Society as a whole suffers when youths are not properly raised. Communities are plagued by insecurity, families are broken, and a generation of leaders is lost to crime, fraud, and violence.

The solution begins with parents. They must rise to their responsibility: instill discipline, show love, teach morals, and remain actively involved in their children’s lives. Only then can we reduce the growing tide of crime and build a better future.
