The devastating fire that swept through a residential tower at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po continues to shake Hong Kong and draw international attention. Updated reports now confirm that 36 lives have been lost in the disaster, marking one of the deadliest urban fires in Hong Kong in recent decades. The fire, which erupted at night while most residents were indoors, spread with terrifying speed through multiple floors of the building.
